1. I get an error when I try to install the program in Windows Millennium or Windows 98.?
A: Please install the version for Windows Millennium and Windows 98. Click on the link "Download free trial" from the left menu
2. How can I merge 2 Word documents into one PDF file ?
A: Only the PRO version of Adolix PDF Converter can do that. All you have to do is print the documents one by one without closing the program.
3.When installing in Win98 or WinMe I get this error: "Error 11: Could not install the printer driver. Please visit https://www.adolix.com/pdf-converter/support/#3 and read how to fix this error.".
A: Follow those easy steps:
- Go to "My Computer" "Control Panel"
- Open "Printer and Faxes"
- Select "Add a Printer"
- Uncheck the box "Automatically detect and install my Plug and Play printer" and press "Next"
- On the second page let the default selections and press "Next"
- Select any printer manufacturer and model and click "Next"
- Press "Next" until you get to the Print Test Page; on this page select "No" and press "Next"
- Press "Next" until the Printer is installed.
Please note that these steps are required only on a very small percentage of computers to force windows to clean some of its internal configuration settings. Now you can run again the Adolix PDF Converter installation kit and the installation should be successful.
4.I am a limited account user, and I get an "Access denied" error when printing to Adolix PDF Converter virtual printer.
Ask your administrator to reinstall Adolix PDF Converter (PRO) and during the installation procedure, he will be prompted to enter a folder where our program will keep temporary files. He should enter there something like "D:\TempFolder\", or any other folder where the limited account user (you) has write access.
5. What do I get if I register ?
A: You MUST register if you want to use this software for more than 15 days. If you register, all the limitations will disappear, you get 24 hours support and high discounts for future versions.
